Welcome, Wild Child

My name is Rylie Nelson, a twenty-six-year-old mom to a two-year-old little boy named Knox, and currently twenty-five weeks pregnant with my second baby boy. I got married in August to my husband, Aaron, and I am currently getting my associate degree in digital marketing. While others dreamed of their lavish careers and world travels, my biggest dream in life was always to be a mom. While I have other hobbies and passions, nothing compares to the love and passion I have for my children. After being a stay-at-home mom for the past year and half, I felt the need to go back to work and contribute financially to our family. Furthermore, I wanted to find a career that not only could provide income but would also allow me to use some of my other passions, while still being able to be with my children. After searching and searching for a job that would check all the boxes, I was very discouraged. Then it finally came to me; I could start an in-home daycare. Before having my son, I had worked for HeadStart in a preschool room for five years, so going back to working with children felt like the perfect fit for me. But through daycare I would be able to be able to be with my children every day. I started thinking of all the ways this would fit me; I would get to use the creative side of my brain by doing different crafts/projects, and I could start using things I have learned while getting my degree by doing affiliate marketing on the side. CHECK, CHECK, and CHECK! Then along came the idea to start up a blog; a place where I could share all these adventures. I want to focus largely on the different crafts and activities I do with the kiddos; however, I also want this to be a place where I can share everything from organization hacks, snack ideas, to my go-to products.

That said, I want to officially share my first easy and fun craft with you. This was a Valentine’s themed craft that I did with my son. It was a hit!
